The property owners, including buildings, houses, and plots, in Meerut, will have a Unique ID number for their property.
UP govt has given Meerut Nagar Nigam the order to start the same exercise.
Awadhesh Kumar is the chief tax assessing Meerut Nagar Nigam; he said a GIS is being done by the residential, non-residential, and commercial companies. Based on this, will be provided every property a Unique ID, which will generate soon.
In the region, there are lots of properties that don’t have any number. The GIS survey will cover these properties and provide the Unique property ID.
He added that the Unique ID would consist of 17 digits containing the municipal corporation code, state code, ward, and property code. Will too connect the unique ID with the contact number of the property proprietor.
All property owners will receive the taxes information, including houses and water tax, on their connected mobile.
At that time, Nagar Nigam will also have complete information on that property in the region, with the database of a particular property in one click.
He added. He said this would uncover individuals to more than one commercial or private property. The municipal commissioner Pramod Kumar added that this Unique ID would be helpful for all property owners.
