Noida: 1,400 flats to be evacuated for Supertech twin towers demolition

This is to inform the residents of Noida sec 93A, some of the towers are going to be demolished on august 21, around 1396 families are living there, and they also need to move their vehicles like four-wheelers and two-wheelers with them. Within a radius of 100 meters of the blast site no one vehicle will be allowed,

There were recommendations; the clearing of the area was decided 5 hours before the demolition which is in the afternoon at 2.30 pm, officials said they can change it by 1 another day.

Confirmed information about the date will be provided next week after a meeting in which many will participate like the officials of RWAs, police brass, and some Noida authority officers.

This evacuation will affect over 5000 families because Apex and Ceyane(Twin towers) are flanked by other towers of Supertech emerald court on one side and ATS greens village on the other side. There are 660 flats and green village has 736, all of these will be evacuated.

As we know towers are the tallest buildings in India, On Wednesday in a meeting for the final step for preparation of demolition, which tower will be brought down besides being within a population locality and exclusion zone was finalized.

It will move around 250mtrs. To the left and right side of the towers and it will cover the emerald court and greens village 450 mtrs. From the front side and around 270 meters. From the backside.

Others like some of the parts of this sector and the Noida expressway will also be included in the exclusion area.

It is restricted to no one in the exclusion area, 5 hours before and 2 hours after the blast, officials said during the meeting, that RWA’s assistance will be sought to designate tower managers who will be in charge of overseeing evacuations.

After clearing the society electricity supply for both areas will be shut down, because till that all the process of the blast will be completed.

Noida authority needs to submit the security-related plan, Police said, another meeting was held with the national disaster response force in which a plan has been designed for a full dress rehearsal for 14th august for knowing the emergency response.

According to the sources, Supertech wrote to the Airport Authority of India, so that the air force can declare not fight zome to that area for a radius of 10km of the tower from 2 pm to 3 pm on 21st August, Supertech accepted to carry out repairing and retrofitting work, after an inspection report of a private company hired by RWA.
